Wealdstone have strengthened their squad with two key signings ahead of the new National League season. The Stones have secured the services of experienced striker Luke Norris on a season-long loan from Boreham Wood and defender Aidan Francis-Clarke on a permanent deal.
Who are the new signings?
Luke Norris, 33, joins Wealdstone with a wealth of experience in the EFL. The forward, who came through Brentford's academy, scored five goals in 18 league appearances last season. His career highlights include 18 goals in League One and 76 in League Two, with a standout season at Stevenage where he netted 10 times in 2022-23 and was named player of the season.
Aidan Francis-Clarke, 22, is a product of Luton Town's academy. The young defender has gained valuable experience through loan spells at St Albans City and Dagenham & Redbridge, and most recently joined Braintree Town in February 2025. He impressed during his trial with Wealdstone and has now secured a permanent move.

Manager Gary Waddock believes Norris' experience and goal-scoring ability will be invaluable. "When you combine the fact Luke has great experience above this level, is a goalscorer and a leader, then it's a fantastic signing for us - no question about that," said Waddock. Francis-Clarke's potential and versatility add depth to the defensive options.
