Wealdstone lost 3-2 to Solihull Moors in the National League on Tuesday. The defeat leaves the Stones 18th in the table with 15 points from 14 games, a record of four wins, three draws and seven losses. They have scored 18 goals and conceded 24 this season, leaving them with a goal difference of negative six. They now find themselves 23 points behind the league leaders.

Marvin Johnson put the visitors ahead after just three minutes with a free-kick. Jamie Andrews doubled Solihull's lead in the 19th minute, heading in from a Johnson corner.

Wealdstone fought back in the second half. Aaron Henry scored from outside the box in the 81st minute to give the home side hope. Scott High restored Solihull's two-goal advantage four minutes later, tapping in a cross from Sbarra.

Fejiri Okenabirhie pulled another goal back for Wealdstone in the 89th minute, finishing from close range after a Newton assist. The late rally was not enough to salvage a point.

"Scott High's goal was the difference as Solihull snapped a three-game losing streak with a tense 3-2 victory at Wealdstone," the match report stated.

The result halts a positive run for Wealdstone, who had won three of their last four league games before this defeat. Their recent form now reads three wins and two losses from their last five matches. This sequence includes a 1-0 win at Aldershot Town on Saturday 24 October, a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest U21 on Tuesday 20 October, a 3-0 win against Worthing on Saturday 17 October, and a 6-0 loss to Yeovil Town on Saturday 10 October. They next face a tough test against third-placed Southend United at Grosvenor Vale on Saturday 31 October.
