Wealdstone suffered a last-gasp 2-1 defeat away to Barrow in the National League on Saturday. Keaton Ward's goal deep into added time secured the points for the hosts and extended Wealdstone's winless run.
Rian Harper put Barrow ahead in the 23rd minute, but Wealdstone responded quickly. R. Maher equalised just three minutes later, finishing an assist from Freddy Okenabirhie. The visitors had five players booked during the contest, including Maher and Dylan Kadji.
Barrow missed a chance to retake the lead when A. Reid saw his 69th-minute penalty saved. The game appeared to be heading for a draw until Ward struck in the fifth minute of stoppage time. The club said the goal "secured Adam Murray's men their fourth win in a row in the league and at home."
The loss leaves Wealdstone 19th in the National League standings with 12 points from 12 matches. Their recent form shows one win, one draw and three losses from the last five games. They now prepare to host fourth-placed Yeovil Town next Saturday.
